Balayage tends to be more diffused, while embracing a natural or darker colored root. Designed to mimic the suns natural effects on the hair, creating a sun kissed highlighted look. The maintenance on this service is much longer in between salon visits ranging from 3-6 months.
Traditional Foils or Highlights have a more noticeable contrast between the highlighted strands and the natural hair color. The color starts at the root, and the look can be more uniform or varying in size depending on the look you are going for. Typically this type of service needs to be refreshed every 6-10weeks on average.
At this time GO FIG is not taking appointments for haircuts unless with a color service.
A partial balayage or foil covers the front of your head, the sides by your ears and down your part.
A full balayage or foil covers the front of your head, the sides by your ears, down your part and all of the back of the head.
The biggest difference is if you want to add pieces into your hair and don't mind the back underneath (neck area) staying how it is before an appointment then a partial will be for you.
If you are a blonde, someone who puts their hair up a lot or have become "two toned" because of lots of partial appointments- a full is recommended.
A corrective color is a salon service where a significant amount of previous hair dye needs to be removed when going lighter. GO FIG, unfortunately does not offer this type of service.
GO FIG doesn't offer consultation appointments, but instead has a digital one via text after you have submitted an appointment request. In this text you will chat with owner, Heidi Lawrence about your hair currently and dream hair color goals.
